-
Why are the 'Build Your Own' products more expensive? The build your own products are expensive as they take more time to make due to the different fillings. They also require additional admin time as ingredients/allergen labels need to be created for your specific requests.
-
Are your products suitable for people with allergies?I'm afraid not. None of our products are suitable for people with SOYA, WHEAT, MILK and EGG allergies. Some fillings contain TREE NUTS, PEANUTS, SULPHITES, SESAME and BARLEY. Whilst every effort is made to avoid cross contamination of TREE NUTS, PEANUTS, SULPHITES, SESAME and BARLEY, cross contamination remains a risk due to the size of our workspace and the fact that products are made alongside one another. Please contact us, if you're at all concerned or require further clarification or Click here for full allergen and ingredient information.
-
How long do the products stay fresh and how do I store them? Our products arrive wrapped in greaseproof paper. Once opened, they should be kept in an air tight container (they do not need to be kept in the fridge). Pies are best eaten within the first 5 days of arrival although they can last longer. Other products are generally best eaten within 3 days. All products can be frozen in cling film for up to 3 months.
-
Can I heat my cookie?Absolutely! Cookie pies and cookies are delicious when heated up as the heat releases even more sweetness and it softens the texture too. When warm, it's best served with a side of ice cream to balance the sweetness. To heat your cookie slice, pop it in the microwave for 30-40 seconds (timings will depend upon the power of your microwave). This will result in your cookie having a soft and gooey texture.
-
Is it normal for the cookie pie to be cracked on top?Shrinkage (which can cause cracking and sinking of the pie lid) can sometimes happen and is an absolutely normal part of the baking process and can't be avoided.
