MY STORY

Thank you for taking the time to look through the My Cookie Pie website.

My name is Claire and I am the owner of My Cookie Pie, which I run from 'the cookie pie room' at my home in Southampton.  Running my business from home means that I am able to juggle my family responsibilities and keep costs to a minimum without compromising food quality, hygiene and safety. 

​

So where did it all start?  I gave up a successful career in HR many years ago, to raise my two boys, Freddie and Harry.  As they got older, I increasingly found myself with more time on my hands but I lacked the confidence to return to work after such a long break.  I therefore busied myself with volunteering and hobbies such as baking, photography, crochet and digital art to name a few!

In 2021, I decided to take the plunge into business and launch My Cookie Pie with a strong emphasis on providing quality, niche products in an oversaturated baking market.

​

To add to this, I always use the finest quality products, I have trained in food hygiene and allergens, implemented a rigorous food safety management system and have a level 5 Food Hygiene Rating (the highest level).​
